Offering up more delicate flavours than standard English Breakfast tea, our Superior English Breakfast is a large leaf tea made from a wonderful blend of Ceylon, Assam and East African teas and goes perfectly with milk and sugar, making it ideal when prepared first thing in the morning.
This blend brings together the best qualities from each tea to create a well-rounded, full-flavoured beverage: Assam tea offers a characteristic maltiness and strong, bold flavours, while Ceylon brings subtle sweetness and a lovely crisp bitterness.
The traditional English Breakfast tea blend is believed to have originated in the United Kingdom, but it is now popular in many countries around the world. English Breakfast teas are usually strong, robust and full-bodied, offering rich and malty flavours and a lovely bright, copper colour when brewed.
