Pai Mu Dan, also known as Baimudan or White Peony, is a classic Chinese white tea grown in Fujian Province. Produced from the renowned Da Bai tea cultivar, it is carefully harvested using a tender bud and two young leaves, creating a tea with greater depth and body than Silver Needle.
While Silver Needle is made exclusively from unopened buds, Pai Mu Dan offers a fuller, more rounded flavour while retaining the smooth, delicate character that makes white tea so highly prized.
