Mancotta Assam is a premium broken leaf black tea sourced directly from a cooperative in Assam, India. Rich, full-bodied and wonderfully complex, it delivers the bold character the region is famous for, balanced with remarkable sweetness and aromatic depth.
The dry leaves reveal enticing notes of ripe fruit, delicate florals and freshly baked sponge cake. Once brewed, the cup develops rich aromas of blackcurrant jam and violets, with a smooth, satisfying body and gentle astringency that make it equally enjoyable on its own or with a splash of milk.
