Genmaicha is a traditional Japanese green tea that combines fresh sencha leaves with toasted rice. The roasted grains give the infusion its distinctive mellow character, with comforting nutty flavours that beautifully complement the tea's gentle grassy freshness.
Our Genmaicha is made using an unusually high-grade sencha, produced by an award-winning tea maker recognised several times for creating some of Japan's finest sencha. This exceptional base tea gives the blend greater freshness, depth and refinement than a standard Genmaicha.
