Made by roasting autumn harvested bancha green tea. This is an aromatic tea with a nutty aroma and mild smoky taste. It is comforting and warming. This Hojicha has a dark brown appearance and is low in caffeine and tannins. Produced by Shohokuen, famous in Japan for their top quality teas. The high quality of this tea makes it possible to infuse the leaves twice.
