From Assam's Hunwal Estate, this second flush TGFOP1 is a generous, characterful black tea with deep orange-red colour and satisfying malt. The garden's unusually high elevation for Assam lends distinction to a classic, full-bodied style.
Expect a gently spiced edge and a lingering finish, with enough strength for a breakfast cup and enough balance to enjoy without milk.
- Origin: Hunwal Estate, Jorhat, Assam, India
- Character: Bold malt, gentle spice and a smooth finish
- Leaf: Second flush TGFOP1 with golden tips
A rewarding single-estate Assam for drinkers who like depth and a little extra refinement in the cup.
