White Tea

The term "White Tea" can refer to a number of different tea types, but is generally accepted to include teas made from the buds and immature tea leaves of the plant. White tea is not oxidised, resulting in a lighter flavour than more traditional black or green teas. Harvested primarily in China, white tea derives its name from the silver-white hairs present on the unopened buds, and produces a pale yellow infusion.
