This luxury black tea, sourced from Nantou County, Taiwan, reveals an evocative aroma, with hints of pine and oak, and a distinctive smoky taste. Stronger than the Chinese version of this tea, a different method in the smoking process gives Formosa Lapsang Souchong Tea more earthy characteristics. It is thought to have energising, as well as relaxing effects. Though traditionally served on its own, it can be taken with lemon, or milk and sugar to taste.
