Our Best Decaffeinated Teas

For us tea lovers, there never seems to be a bad time to put the kettle on and enjoy a delicious brew. That is until we are looking for a great night’s sleep, and choose to sacrifice a cup of our favourite tea for fear of being kept tossing and turning all night from the caffeine hit!

That’s where Tea-Direct can help. We offer a wonderful selection of some of the best decaffeinated teas you will find in terms of quality, freshness and flavour.

Our delicious decaffeinated teas are produced safely through the popular Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Method, which uses naturally occurring CO2, combined with high pressure and temperature, to extract the caffeine without the use of any nasty chemicals. Extra care is taken to preserve the tannins whilst reducing the caffeine content, and by using the finest quality tea leaves, subtle flavours and characteristics may be retained.

Why not take a look at our best decaffeinated loose leaf teas, or check out our range of wonderfully refreshing, naturally caffeine-free tisanes?

Decaffeinated Leaf Tea – From £15.99
Full of fresh, bold flavours, this rich and aromatic tea is made using Ceylon black tea leaves and is the perfect alternative for those looking for a satisfying brew, without the effects of caffeine. Enjoy with a splash of milk, as a black tea, or with a slice of lemon and sugar for a truly refreshing brew.

Earl Grey Decaffeinated Tea – From £15.99
Flavoured with the natural oils of bergamot, this strong, black decaffeinated tea creates a wonderful Earl Grey, full of delicate notes and a wholly unique aroma.

Earl Grey tea gets its wonderful flavour and aroma from the addition of oil of bergamot, extracted from the rinds of bergamot oranges (Citrus bergamia). This citrus fruit, grown commercially in Calabria, Italy, is a cross between a lemon, a lime and a bitter orange.

Made from Chinese sencha leaves, this light and delicate green tea is very refreshing and can be enjoyed at any time of day.
Sencha tea is rich in antioxidants, which may help to protect the body from damage caused by free radicals, and contains compounds that have been shown to promote heart health and boost the immune system.

Decaffeinated Fannings Tea – From £11.99
Decaffeinated Fannings Tea is made with Ceylon fannings, fine and fragrant leaves that, when steeped, produce a wonderful robust and flavoursome brew of a dark amber colour. It has all the flavour of Kenya PF Tea, but without the caffeine, so can be enjoyed at any time of day.
