One of the first black teas on record, this luxury black tea is sourced from the Fujian Province of China, where leaves are grown at 3500 - 5000ft above sea level. Grown in an area of soaring mountains and evergreen forests, the leaves used to make Lapsang Souchong Butterfly Tea are dried over wood fires, to reveal aromas of pine and oak, and smooth, crisp, smoky flavours. Lapsang Souchong can be served on its own, with lemon, or milk and sugar to taste.
